Puffy, glossy brown scales, usually round shaped with a central brown dimple, often wrinkled or puckered; dispersed over rock surface, rarely clustered; FIELD ID: chestnut-brown scales with darker brown dimple at center, looking like tiny bagels, mostly on granitic rock
