Narrow lobes branching frequently creating a dense, layered rosette; usually fertile, with dark brown, rimmed apothecia, often radiating narrow lobules from rim; gray when dry, green when wet; FIELD ID: rapid transition from flat lobes to narrow, abundant lobules, lush rosettes, brown disks, rims with narrow lobules radiating out a clinching mark
