Description

Whitish thallus with small dark-brown lirellae; lirellae are narrow & branching, without pruina; MICROSCOPY: epihymenium brown, hymenium & hypothecium hyaline, spores in oblong asci, 8/ascus, 3-septate, colorless becoming brown, then shriveled & darker brown in senescence; FIELD ID: like other commas with brown lirellae, so requires dissection to observe spores
