Thin, dull green or blue-green thallus with yellow-to-brown disks; disks rimmed white, the rim fuzzy, composed of felted fungal hyphae; CHEMISTRY: thallus UV+ orange (xanthones); FIELD ID: yellow-disked forms unmistakable, but thalli with browner disks need field UV test to confirm
