Description

Whitish thallus, individual erect branches forming small clumps, with tips all curving over in the same direction; CHEMISTRY: KC+ yellow (usnic acid), other tests negative; FIELD ID: contrast of white thallus with neighboring sterile C. leporina (yellowish) is a clue within limited range; confirm with a field KC test
