Description

Pale gray-green to whitish thallus of tiny byssoid lobes, with black byssoid underside & prothallus; becoming sorediate at center of thallus; FIELD ID: appearing as a small foliose thallus superficially, but on close inspection the webbed, cottony thallus is obvious & distinctive
