Pale yellowish or yellow-green thallus sometimes blackening at edges of areoles; thallus edges lobate, radiating out often in a circle, sometimes more haphazardly (as above); dark disks with thalline rims sometimes abundant, sometimes absent; FIELD ID possible with experience & careful observation
