Description

Whitish to pale green thallus with black lirellae; no thalline margin at sides of prominent, sessile lirellae; lirellae tightly closed (disks concealed); labia striate; MICROSCOPY: exciple laterally carbonized; hymenium clear; spores septate, 10-12-celled (spores difficult to find in dissection, leaving this species under-reported); CHEMISTRY: all reactions negative; FIELD ID: most Graphis are best left at genus without dissection & chemical tests, though with experience this species is identifiable with careful observation
