Other saxicolous Lecanora species: L. cenisia has a lumpy grayish thallus and big, pinkish-pruinose disks; L. saxigena has lumpy, irregular rims & PD+ red disks; L. polytropa has a dispersed areolate, not continuous thallus; L. subimmergens is rare, & young disks are immersed in thallus, becoming sessile
