Description

Thallus olive green & gelatinous when wet, dark blue-gray when dry; lobes deeply wrinkled & with frilly, lobed thalline margins of chestnut-brown apothecia; lobes anastomosing in zones of contact; FIELD ID: frilly lobes on margins of big disks are distinctive

Similar Species

Leptogium milligranum is similar in general appearance & color, but is isidiate-lobulate; the wrinkled rims of apothecia on Leptogium chloromelum are not lobulate
