Large brown lobes 0.5-2 cm across, often arching away from substrate; upper surface dotted with bright yellow soralia especially along network of low ridges & also along lobe margins; lower surface brown, tomentose, dotted with small yellow pseudocyphellae; FIELD ID: bold & unmistakable, though lucky to find

Similar Species

Crocodia aurata is generally smaller & has a mostly smooth green upper surface with marginal yellow soralia
