Description

Pale green to whitish shrubby thallus 1(-2) cm high; flattened branches about 0.3 mm wide near base, tapering to 0.1 mm wide at tips; tiny soralia clustered at or near branch tips; CHEMISTRY: thallus KC+ pink, PD+ red (protocetraric acid); FIELD ID: requires chemical tests best done in lab setting
