Olive to brownish-gray areolate thallus covered in tiny, branching isidia-like structures; apothecia rare, dark brown disks (peppered with darker spores), with thalline rims; FIELD ID: recognizing this species as a Rinodina when sterile may be a challenge, but it is otherwise unmistakable
