Description

Pale yellow continuous thallus; apothecia with dark brown disks (peppered with darker spores) & thalline rims; MICROSCOPY: brown, 2-celled spores ellipsoid, with rounded lumina; FIELD ID possible (on its preferred substrate), given distinctive sulfur-yellow thallus & disk rims contrasting with dark disks
