Pale green-gray, smooth, continuous thallus; lirellae oval to round, covered in a rusty-red pruina that can wear away with age; MICROSCOPY: exciple not carbonized, hymenium clear, spores colorless, about 8/ascus, 5-10 cells lens-shaped; CHEMISTRY: epihymenium K+ green (isohypocrellin); FIELD ID: unmistakable
