Description

Pale yellow-green thallus thin, continuous, variably granular; minute pale tan to yellowish disks with patchy thalline rims, mostly with colorless non-thalline rims that disappear beneath the edges of the growing disks; FIELD ID: no parts of this lichen will be sorediate, though careful examination under a dissecting scope may be necessary

Similar Species

Lecanora strobilina is abundant and can occasionally appear to have almost rimless disks, but will usually have a few soredia at rims of disks
